Thursday 13th November 4-5pm

Term 4 2025 is Start 13th Nov - December 18 Tuesdays 4pm - 5pm  

​

8-10 year olds Term 4 (6 week term) $240

​

Underage Classes are capped at 14 Students 

Located at the Surf Life Saving Club Newport

You can join any week of the term. 

You can do one class before committing to the term

Terms finish with an open class for parents to come and watch 

Terms in 2026 will be 4 x 8 weeks with 3 open classes and one performance evening.

Classes

Pre Tween (8-10 Years)

 Newport LifeSaving Club 
Tuesdays:   4:00 to 5:00 PM 

Registering Interest for Thursdays: 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Starters (6 -7 Years) 

Registering Interest

3:45pm to 4:30 PM

What is included?

 

All groups are appropriately adjusted for their ages and the different programs above we have set out.

 

Half Day 1

​

> A minimum of 1 hour of confidence/fun building games- Please note that we have designed this to bring out the best version of their creative self and set expectations of the workshop. 

> 1 hour of basic skills of story telling, acting, facing the front, voice projection, blocking, story structure from beginning to end. 

> Tea break (10 min - fully supervised).  

> Last hour we explore our story telling skills, do role play as a group, go over our learnings, opportunities, and provide constructive feedback.

Half Day 2

​

> 1 hour of improvisation & warming up to build up more confidence. 

> 1 hour of learning a new script (each child is given a script based on their suitability) and we learn how to perform through believability, performance levels, auditioning process, hitting marks without looking down and how to work with scripts. 

> Tea break (10 min - fully supervised).

> Last half hour is a live Q&A with Cassandra for parents and students on how best to move forward in the industry and how to pursue auditions, and a career in acting for those who are interested through an open Q&A. (Please note, parents welcome for the last half hour).

*Be mindful this is not a school camp, and so there is no ‘play time’ or child minding outside of the set pick up times out-lined above.
